Last month the creative team behind kate spade new york converged on Manhattan’s lower east side to shoot the ad campaign for their new fragrance, Twirl. Deborah Lloyd, Co-president and Creative Director of kate spade new york oversaw the production along with renowned fashion photographer Phil Poynter and stylist Elissa Santisi. The shoot, which stretched over the course of a ten hour day, saw nightclub venue,The Box, transformed into a fun-filled New Year’s eve party scene replete with professional dancers and a live jazz band. Model Lonneke Engel, who will star in the campaign, looked gorgeous in a gold party dress and other kate spade new york accessories. Choreographer Josh Byrne kept the mood on set elevated by playing such musical favorites as Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” while a rainstorm of gold confetti floated around the happy-go-lucky dancers.
