(2010 CFDA Awards will take place June 7th. Nominees Announced Last Night)
Last night was a big industry night if you are in the fashion business. The 2010 Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards is the equivalent of fashions Oscars with an award show honoring new designers and established peers in the biz — except this red carpet takes place at Lincoln Center in New York.
Last evening was the special evening that determined it all. Hosted by Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg at Diane’s meatpacking district headquarters, both women read off the nominees to a select amount of fashion insiders.
Now that the names are out, prepare to see these designers on fashion blogs and fresh magazine profiles, while pondering discussion by the water cooler to determine who deserves the statue.
Lets the politicin’ begin! And the nominees arrrrrrrrrrreee…..
