Starworks was honored to be the Talent Bookers for the Presenters of this year’s CFDA Awards at Alice Tully Hall in NYC last night. Starworks’ team was on site to cover the Presenters: Justin Timberlake (award to GQ’s Jim Moore), Jack White (award to Anna Sui), Diane Kruger (award to Womenswear Designer of the Year), Blake Lively (Swarovski awards to for excellence in Accessories, Mens and Womens designers), and Kerry Washington (award to Accessories Designer of the Year).

Lyle and I were doing up to minute red carpet reporting on the Starworks Twitter page—reporting on arrivals of some of our favorite best dressed stars of the night such as…

Taylor Lautner and Bradley Cooper both looked dapper and elegant in Calvin Klein and definitely caught the eyes of more than a few of us ladies (um, me?) and men (um, Lyle?).

A few Starworks clients of note were there, all looking sensational—Costello Tagliapietra (in matching suits—adorable!), Eugenia Kim and Mimi So in a striking red Valentino.

List of High Points of Note:

–Sharon fell down in front of hundreds of onlookers when heel got stuck in broken pavement—headset flying, walkie crashing to ground along with cell phone, elbow and knee…all bloodied. Our own Greg K in all of his glorious skinnydom desperately trying to lift her to her feet.

–Dashing post-fall to the other side of the building to greet a William Rast-clad Justin Timberlake and take him thru a mysterious side entrance that led us to a Spinal Tap-style goose chase to find the stage (“Hello Cleveland!”).

–Greg meeting Jack White and the happiness it brought him.

–Daphne Guinness blowing our minds in purple and black lace.

–Laura and Kate Mulleavy’s incredible acceptance speech where they thanked all of their friends who modeled for them for free their first season…and thanked Anna Wintour for her support when they only had twelve looks to show.

–A mid-show champagne break with Rachel Roy in the lobby.

–Sharon becoming besties with Eric, Justin’s bodyguard who was so large a man, you could cut three suits for Lyle out of just his one…
