First it was Prince, then Puffy… Is it me? Or is it a bit creepy when certain artists get so big, that they make inflated big decisions like changing their name overnight. I can understand Prince’s name-change due to the fact it was some sort of solution with a record label battle. Puff’s name-change (to P.Diddy) was also a bit odd but it wasn’t so drastic so the ripple effects were few.

Enter Kanye West — who is now announcing he expects to be addressed as “Martin Louis the King Jr”. You have to have cojones to name yourself after one of the most important Civil Rights leaders. On top of that, to mash-it up with the name of Luxury brand (Louis Vuitton)?
