If you don’t already subscribe to Faran’s site, Fashionista.com, then give it a stroll. It’s a tidbit of the latest scoops happening in the world of Fashion. She was recently hired by Nylon to be their “Digital Director” and oversee online content for NylonMag.com among “a million other things” as she likes to say. Anyway, I’ll take this moment to brag that this fresh New Media giant was once my intern at Jane Magazine. She always had that little sparkle in her eye which indicated she was ready to take over the world.
This cute graphic was something she banged out quickly (add “illustrator” to her title) for her friend Ellen Hart who has a “spunky variety site” called PopSerious.com. I thought this doodle was interesting considering me and a few 30-something ladies in New York have no idea what the hell qualifies as a date these days…. of course it took a Generation Y girl to point it out to me.
